Here are a couple of detail shots from the painting. This is my first attempt at a digital painting and I found it most agreable! It is not painted directly over a photo like some artists do, but does use photos for reference. As the photos are on the computer, colours can be sampled directly making a painting like this a lot quicker and simpler to complete. fantastic for illustrational purposes or for your own line of humourous Christmas cards such as this!
